ETC@GDPU
This project began in early 2017. etc@gdpu was aimed at disabled youth who had already established their own businesses). GDPU delivered or assisted in the provision of education, training, psycho-social support, business support and grants designed to enable individuals to achieve sustainable and self-supporting livelihoods.
Although the project formally ended with the start of VPlus@GDPU in2020, in fact the support of etc@gdpu beneficiaries still continues and will carry on under the current VPlus+ programme.

Vplus@GDPU
Subsequent to the success of the etc@gdpu project and the ETC of PWD trustee visit to Gulu in February 2020, the Vplus@GDPU programme began in November 2020 by making the GDPU site Covid 19 secure. The full vocational training programme for 52 disabled youth started in January 2021. The first cohort of VPlus trainees graduated on 10th November 2021 and subsequently moved on to six months Post Training Support. Cohort Two of the VPlus training programme recruited trainees in December 2021 and started training in January 2022. Training and Post Training Support for VPlus Cohort Two was completed by June 2023.
VPlus was joint funded by ETC of PWD (by trustees and private donations) and by UK Aid Direct.
